Our Services
Our goal in every service is to encourage a wholehearted worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The messages each week call for changed lives as believers are encouraged to be led by The Word and Spirit of God. Our services are structured to be simple, clear, orderly and reverent but not ritualistic.
Our Music
Amazing Grace’s musical style would probably be considered somewhat contemporary but we also include traditional hymns. Our worship team is vibrant and brings many talents to offer praise with. Our worship consists of instruments as well as beautiful voices and special music performed by various members of the congregation.
1 Peter 1:8 (NIV)Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy
Amazing Grace Community Church in Cuba Missouri was started in March of 2007. A group of local people concerned over the liberal direction, theologically and morally of some denominations, met to discuss the possibility of planting a new bible based, Christ honoring community church with a goal to reach the large number of people in the community that are un-churched.
Pastor Gary Mace, who was called to serve as pastor, along with the leadership board, sought the help and affiliation of the Central District of the Evangelical Free Church of America. It was found that the faith statement and mission of the EFCA fit very well with the faith and mission of AGCC.
In July 2009 the congregation moved into a new facility and with it came additional opportunity for reaching people who do not attend church with God’s mercy and grace through Christ.
